The entire family is affected when you adopt a parrot, which are the most challenging, noisy, messy, expensive and time-consuming of all companion animals. The decision to adopt a bird must be made based of a full understanding —by the entire family— of the commitment and responsibilities required over the many years of the bird’s life.  CPC seeks to place each bird in a permanent home—one that will provide for the emotional, physical, and financial needs of the bird—and to ensure a successful outcome for each bird and his or her new family “flock.”
