A. While we do have adoptive homes outside of California, CPC rarely places birds in foster or adoptive care outside of network area.* CPC views the adoption process as a chance to build relationships - between the adoptive home and CPC, as well as between the bird and their potential new family. Adoptive families must be able to complete the adoption procedures, including education, preparing the home environment, etc. Each request will be reviewed individually.
